Ciao a tutti! Ora sono a Boston. E' la mia destinazione seconda e la prossima destinazione è New Haven. A Boston ho visitato Università di Boston, la bibliotecca pubblica, il Chinatown, la strada Newbury, eccetera. Mi piace molto il Chinatown! Ci sono tanti ristoranti buoni ed ho mangiato il riso con il pollo e l'anatra ad un ristorante hongkongese. Non ho mangiato mai questa cucina dopo ho venuto qui negli Stati Uniti e questa è stata la mia prima volta!

Domani visito Università di Harvard ed il MIT. Queste università sono le università più importanti, più migliori e più famose del mondo. Ognuno sogna di studiare a queste università, anche io.... ma non posso :( A New Haven, anche visito un'università famosa, è Università di Yale! LOL Visitare le università è una cosa che mi piace fare tanto. Penso che visiti circa 9 università durante questa vacanza.

Ho finito i miei esami finali ieri ed oggi inizia la mia pausa invernale! Faccio backpacking ad alcune città: New York City, Boston, New Haven, Philadelphia, Washington DC e Pittsburgh. E' la prima volta che faccio backpacking.... e sono molto nervosa! A New York sono da sola ma ho sentito che New York è una città molto pericolosa :o Spero che non succeda niente. Dio mi benedica.

A proposito, feteggio il mio 21 compleanno a New York. Non vedo l'ora!! Penso che sia un compleanno più speciale e memorabile! Ciao!

gotta wake up early tomorrow so here are some brief updates:

it's the first week of my third quarter in the states!
the courses that i'm taking this quarter after a few times of add/drop:

italian 101 (introduction to italian)

english 110.01 (first year english composition)

fdscte 201 (the science of food)

dance 201.02 (introduction to ballet)

just added the ballet course an hour ago -- got the last seat in the class. how lucky i am.
job application still in progress. going for a background check at the osu police department tomorrow morning and i'll be done with the application process. hopefully the child care center will hire me. i have confidence that i'll be a good teaching aide :)
i'm sooooo lovin the italian class! finally there's a class that i love and wish to go to everyday. my italian instructor wants us to pick an italian name and mine is beatrice (be-tree-che) which means blesses!
iphone apps are powerful. i learned some vocabs and basic phrases through some iphone's learning italian apps and now i do not have any prob in class! what instructor taught so far was easy to me =D
spent lotsa $$ on textbooks again.... when's godfather going to give us book allowance?
oh yea.... i forgot to talk about my last quarter. result was horrible because of the freaking biology. cgpa was also pulled down like hell... damn. i hate biology. i will never marry a biologist/ doctor/ pharmacist/ biology teacher/ dentist/ someone that sells biology books etc. and i will never let my children study the freaking subject @#$%^%$*!

一边啜泣着，一边打电话回马来西亚。我不知道我为什么会突然这样，我只觉得很无助。我害怕我会失去一切....我真的不知道我脑子里怎么会有这样的想法。我一直以为自己已经能够接受生离死别.....这一刻，我才发觉，我不行。开始语无伦次了......

哭了好久，书桌上都是泪水。我害怕，我真的很害怕。人就是这样，到了事情真正发生的时候，才发觉自己不是那么的坚强，才害怕失去所拥有的，才懂得珍惜身边的人。

This is my first post since I came to the states. Sorry for abandoning you, blog :(

So it's my second quarter here. I just had my midterms last week.... Well, I think I screwed them. I really regretted for not paying much attention in my Busmgt330 and Biology class. *sigh* I would definitely pay 100% attention in class and study hard if I were given a second chance. BUT there's no such thing as a second chance. I should have known this long time ago. All I can do now is to prepare myself for the bad results I will get on Monday. And START studying.

Have been facing lots of things lately. And I've learned not to care what others think about me. I know I'm being misunderstood, but I'm not gonna fight back. I believe that I will get everything back someday, including my reputation. So, do whatever you want, someone with two faces!

Heritage Tour

Haha I feel so lazy to update my blog. Pics were uploaded two days ago and now only I try to write something here. So I finally went to Chen Xi's house!! (It's actually called Penang Peranakan Mansion =p)

Going to Penang Peranakan Mansion was like one of my wishes since I watched The Little Nyonya. Haha you know how much I love old buildings and the architectural design of nyonya houses. Didn't get to visit to this Penang Peranakan Mansion last time because I didn't know the address. But this time, I've done some research about the exact location of Penang Peranakan Mansion through Google Map and also listed down some other historical places that I wanted to go.

So here's the list!

First, we went to Mahindarama Buddhist Temple, to get blessing before I leave for US. Then dad brought us to one of the destinations on my list - Clan Jetties. Clan jetties are villages built on silts and can be found along Weld Quay (Pengkalan Weld). Each jetty is named after the last name of the residents. The residents' ancestors were from Fujian, China and they were mostly fishermen or gatherer of oysters.

I was really excited when walking on the wooden plank walkway, and I told my mom, "Omg I'm stepping on historical wooden planks!" Hahahah. There were some houses on the both sides of plank walkway and had people living there. We walked along the plank walkway until we reached the end of the walkway and saw the sea! I could see some ships sailing in the sea and feel the sea breeze ;D Living near the sea is such a wonderful thing!

There were actually eight clan jetties along Weld Quay : Chew Jetty, Kuoy Jetty, Lee Jetty, Lim Jetty, Peng Aun Jetty, Tan Jetty, Yeoh Jetty and Mixed Clan Jetty, but I heard that there are only six jetties left now. We only managed to visit to Lee Jetty and Mixed Clan Jetty because of rain. Yerr I wanted to visit to the Chew Jetty that has the longest walkway and most number of houses! :( Speaking of which, do you know that one of the scene of Ah Niu's movie "Ice Kacang Puppy Love" was filmed at Chew Jetty? =D

Passed by some historical places along Weld Quay, such as the Church Street Pier which was once a busy spot along the channel. It was neglected after that and now it's redeveloped and incorporated into the Tanjung City Marina.

And Penang Peranakan Mansion was the next destination!

It was built at the end of 19th century by one of local history's famous personalities, the "Hai Kee Chan" (海记栈) or Sea Remembrance Store. It was once served as the residence and office of Kapitan Cina Chung Keng Kwee (郑景贵). Remember the Hai San in our Sejarah text book? Neh, under the title of Perjanjian Pangkor.... the one fighting with Ghee Hin, remember? Hai San was a Chinese Secret Society in British Malaya and Chung Keng Kwee was a leader of Hai San! He was a millionaire philanthropist, an innovator of mining of tin and also involved in many other industries. He was also respected by both Chinese and European communities. There were two streets in Georgetown which were named after him: Keng Kwee Street and Ah Quee Street.

You might think Chung Keng Kwee was a Baba. No, he's not. He chose this style of architecture because of its association with wealth and substance. Chinese carved-wood panels, English floor tiles and Scottish ironworks. It was like a typical home of a rich Baba of a century ago.

So we had a tour around Georgetown after that and I saw many historical tourist attractions as well as old buildings! Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, War Memorial, City Hall, King Street Temples, Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base, Islamic Museum, Little India and Sri Mahamariamman Temple. I wanted to visit to St. George Anglican Church, the oldest Anglican church in Southeast Asia but too bad, it's now closed for renovation :(

Went to Goddess of Mercy Temple a.k.a. Kuan Yin Teng. Its orginal name is Kong Hock Keong which means Temple of Cantonese and Hokkien community. It's the first temple built by Penang's early Chinese settlers dedicated to Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and second virgin Goddess of Mercy, Mar Chor Poh.

I love these street signs.

Do you know this? Most streets in the city have historic English names because those streets were built and named in colonial era. The names generally remain and are still used by most Penangites now although all the street signs were changed to Malay Language since the passage of National Language Act 1967. Malay translation of street names are the primary official versions but now there are also some street signs supplemented with names in English/ Chinese/ Tamil/ Arabic.

Well, many streets in Central Georgetown have mostly an unrelated but interesting road names in Penang Hokkien. For example, Lebuh Acheh is called Acheen Street in English but it's called 拍石街 in Hokkien which means "Stone-breaking Street". Lebuh Armenian is called Armenian Street in English and 拍铜街 (Cooper-beater Street) in Hokkien. Interesting, right? :)

Dad brought us to the famous ice kacang stall at Penang Road. OMG so many people were queuing for ice kacang or cendol! Never knew that ice kacang and cendol can be such attractive to make people willing to queue up in baking sun and eat on the road.

So we came to this place which is located at Komtar Walk. Dad said it's owned by the tauke of the ice kacang stall at Penang Road.

Walked around in Komtar after that. Glad to see that Komtar is alive! It's surprisingly different with what I saw two years ago. Penang government really did a good job for this.

So that's all for my Georgetown UNESCO Heritage tour. Went to the seaside before heading back to BM.

Yes, it's exactly 2 weeks from now! I can't help getting more and more excited as the days come nearer and nearer. Carrying my luggages, waving goodbye to family and getting on the plane..... I can imagine that!! And I'll get to experience sleeping in airports too! Haha perhaps that's the part that I anticipate the most. I was really envious when looking at those photos that my friends posted on Facebook..... Nevermind, I shall wait. It's gonna be my turn 2 weeks later (:

Fall semester has started and friends already started going to classes, while I'm still here merayau ke sana-sini. Went to have some nice food and walk around at the shopping mall just now even though I don't have anything to buy.... Haha I'm just bored out of my wits staying at home. I seriously need to find something to do!

Went back to the kindergarten today to get my salary. I thought I would get a half-month salary because I worked until 15th only this month. And I was really surprised when my boss gave me one month's salary ! I feel so touched lar. She already gave me a big angpau before I left and now I got extra paid :') Besides that, I'm happy that I got to see the cute little angels that I'm missing so terribly! I wanted to hug them tight but I did not. Stayed there for a while and left before my tears started to fall. I really hope they will still remember me after they grow up.... *wipes tears* Little angels, you brought me the greatest happiness of my life! Be a good kid, ok? I promise, I will come back 3 years later. T____T

since i've got my US visa, i hereby announce that i'll be going to The Ohio State University, Columbus! will be leaving at 11:40pm on September 8 (transit at London Heathrow Airport and Detroit Metro Airport). shall start packing tomorrow.... there are just 19 days left!

Orton Hall.

one of the oldest buildings of OSU and it's named after Dr. Edward J. Orton, the first president of OSU. it's believed to be haunted by two ghosts. one is Edward Orton himself who spent a lot of time reading by lamp light in the top of the bell tower. therefore, there are scorch marks on the inside ceiling of the tower room left by his oil lamp. another ghost that haunts orton hall is said to be a prehistoric man with humped back, thick hair and a protruding forehead which is supposed to slam doors, bang on things and make noises since he can't speak.

there's a tradition at OSU that students jump into the lake around midnight prior to the annual football game between ohio state buckeyes and michigan wolverines. the rivalry between these two schools started in early 1900s and it's like one of the greatest college football rivalries. i've also found out that there's a beat michigan week at osu LOL

haven't updated my blog for quite some time.... so this post is gonna be a long one :)

first, i've resigned from my job last saturday and i'm no longer a kindergarten teacher now.

took some pics with the kids before i left.

aww, look at those cute kids! i already started missing the kids who had brightened up my days. i enjoyed being together with them. they are like my little angels :)

so now i've got my visa done! woohoooo. thanks eden and her family for giving me a stay and bringing me around KL. it was a really nice trip! took the earliest flight last sunday to lcct, coz i thought i would have to take ktm from nilai to KL ktm station (which may take a very long time) and i already forgot there are buses from lcct directly to KL sentral XD oh ya here's a random story... there was a guy sitting beside me on the plane and he asked me "chinese?" before he started talking to me in mandarin -.- i don't look like a chinese meh :( took skybus to KL sentral after i reached lcct and then took ktm to KL ktm station...... alone! haha i know this is normal but it was my first time doing so. luckily i didn't get on the wrong bus/ get lost in KL sentral/ get on the wrong ktm XD

eden has already waited for me at the ktm station as i reached there, and she brought me to her church which is near the petaling street. it's a chinese methodist church and it has a very nice architectural design. actually this was my first time going to a church! lousy me have never visited any church before this, even the famous St. Anne church in my hometown. after that, we walked around petaling street and now only i know how petaling street looks like. umm.... okay this was my another "first time" too. i've always wanted to go to petaling street because of its history and of course ..... nice food! but now, i'm kinda disappointed to see the stalls at petaling street which sell pirated goods. they make petaling street looks exactly like a pasar -.- went to pasar seni (a.k.a central market) after that. i love that place! it's a really great place to shop for malaysian arts and crafts, souvenirs and antiques.

got so excited when i saw the old buildings near petaling street and pasar seni! LOL eden must be thinking that i'm weird. i just love old buildings. i can easily get the feeling of history and time when i'm in an old building. for example, when i visited the baba and nyonya heritage museum at malacca and some old houses in penang last time, i felt like i was back to that era. i could imagine what people were doing there and how their life was like. i could also feel the spirit of the long gone people..... yea, every building has its own story, and it needs people to dig out its story :) i wish the government can preserve all the old and historical buildings in our country because they are like part of our culture that can never be replaced.

went shopping at berjaya times square, sungai wang plaza and low yat plaza after that. brought a battery charger for my camera and the charger itself has US pin plug! :D

brought this inflatable pillow at daiso. it's really useful! i used it on the bus back to my hometown and i slept comfortably until i almost missed the stop XD

bought this vacuum bag at daiso too. it's just 5 bucks and easy to be used. i just need to roll it to release the air inside the bag, unlike the slazenger vacuum bags that i bought...... so freaking expensive and i still need a vacuum cleaner to suck the air inside the bag!

haha guess what is this? oil blotters. the quality isn't good or maybe my face is too oily? XD i still prefer clean & clear oil blotters.

went for visa interview the next day. waited for more than 2 hours before the interview and the interview ended within 1 minute -.- however, the staffs were friendly and helpful :)

we walked for about 10 minutes to KLCC after the interview.

so i went home right after i got my visa at wisma mca. a big thank you to eden who accompanied me all the way to bukit jalil. so touched =') i myself have a great improvement too! i was so brave when buying bus ticket HAHA i didn't get scared by the ladies at the counters and the uncles who kept persuading me to buy tickets from them. i'm serious.... do not laugh k. ada phobia tau. ok la i tell a story to entertain whoever reading this post. it happened in my second semester in inti. i took ktm to seremban alone after class to buy a bus ticket. when i reached there, i saw the ladies at the counters waving hands at me and said "mari... mari!". i quickly walked to other counters but there were some uncles beside the counters who kept asking me: "ah moi, mau pi mana? ohh butterworth.... sekarang ada bus! mari mari!" so i got scared and went back to inti without buying bus ticket. HAHAHA do not swt. i'm glad that i've finally overcome my phobia =p

won't be able to eat nice mooncakes three years from now. must eat kao kao before i leave! and this year will also be the first time i celebrate mid-autumn festival at the states. will it be different? :)

don't you just hate people who always complain for nothing?! damn. there's a girl in my class and she has a super fussy mom. her mom is kind of .... you know, arrogant type, and she complains all the time (as in EVERYDAY)! yea she pays, and she deserves to complain, but what she complains about are like.... okay i'll give some examples. we help those kids with long hair to tie their hair up after they wake up from nap. and the girl's mom said we tied her daughter hair too tight. wth... it's just a freaking ponytail and it's NOT tight at all! other parents have never complained about this and she was the only one -.- argh, i hate dealing with this kind of parents.

being a kindergarten teacher ain't easy. you know, kids nowadays are spoiled. most of the kids at my kindergarten are the only child at home. their parents just give them everything they want, like branded stuff, mcdonalds.... sometimes i really doubt if the parents understand what are good for their kids and what are not. there's a 5 year old boy in my kindergarten who always comes to school late. school starts at 8:30am and he comes after 10am (sometimes 12pm -.-) i asked him why he's late.... and guess what he said? "mom brought me to mcdonalds." cureless. why the hell are there such parents who don't care if their kids miss the classes? and teachers are usually the ones to be blamed when the kids couldn't learn anything due to lateness to school.

relieved. haha i was just too annoyed by the complainer. nevermind 14 more days. and i won't be seeing her anymore!

look at the tree! it was done by me together with the kids in my class. i collected the leaves, and then we made the tree trunk and pasted the leaves together. it was nice, wasn't it? =D

went to queensbay mall yesterday.... and WOWWWW, there are sales! but "sales" has another meaning too - BROKE. i've spent more than 300 bucks at padini concept store for some formal blouses, skirt, turtlenecks and long sleeve tees.

YEAH i'm happy to announce that my housing problems are solved!! it's now DONE ;D a big thank you to sinyin, an ex-intian who's studying in osu now. was in the same accounting class with her in the second semester but we never talked.... i guess she doesn't know i was in the same class with her also LOL facebook just makes everything possible! i added her on facebook and she helped me a lot with acceptance fee and housing things. i've also found a girl who's going to do the same major with me at osu through facebook! and she's going to be my housemate =) i have to say facebook is the second greatest invention after google.

so i'm here again..... after the pre-departure briefing and the 2 night stay in inti! holidays did not make any difference. everyone is still the same, just that jiehui and aheong have become tanner xD i'm still the same old me, kept annoying tzinyee by being lame. i guess she would feel relieved for not going to the same university with me HAHAHA

purposely slept early that night and woke up at 1:00am for the world cup final! no i'm not interested in world cup... i just wanted to experience the world cup fever XD went to cafeteria with tzinyee, jiehui and aheong half an hour before the match started but cafeteria was already full -.- i thought i could tahan until the end of the match, however i was still as 俗辣 as ever. went back to hostel with jiehui after around 20 minutes the match started. football isn't my cup of tea =p

went to this building the next morning. we got our blazer and allowance here $$. was so emo that day because my blazer looks so..... large! and other people look so nice in their blazer. HAIH i know the uncle hates me :(

tell you something funny, i think i lost my m&m's at penang airport. -.- dunno how, it just suddenly disappeared from my pocket! weird. i was searching high and low for my m&m's but...... haih, my first packet of m&m's in 2010 just gone like this! T____T

was asked to be an interpreter when i was at lcct! =D the story goes like this: i was using the kiosk check-in service at lcct, and an airasia staff came to me. she asked me if i could help her to communicate with some tourists from china. then she spoke to me in bahasa malaysia and i translated what she said into mandarin. okay so i started to translate...... but damn, i stammered and almost made it an literal translation! now i know it's not easy to be an interpreter (: besides this, i also talked to an irish lady who sat beside me on the flight to penang. meeting people all around the world is just so fun! that's the reason why i love airports and airplanes, do you? now i'm excited about the flight to columbus, ohio.... around 20 hours to reach there!!! ;D how cool is that?!

reached penang airport at 5:30am this morning although i took the 8:15am flight. i have to blame airasia for this. airasia has placed an advertisement regarding some service unavailable thingy in newspapers few days ago, and they asked the passengers to reach the airport at least 3 hours before the departure time. after i reached the airport, everything including the check-in process was normal, and i just sat at the departure hall like a fool! luckily i missed the alarm this morning and woke up late...... wait, today is not april fool right? -.-

btw, my i-20 is in penang now!! and it's gonna reach my house soon =)

received a letter from our godfather last friday. was so excited to see this: taklimat pra-penerbangan dan pembayaran elaun kepada pelajar-pelajar tajaan jpa ke universiti di amerika syarikat! but, as i continued reading the letter, this word made me O_O...... BLAZER! i initially thought that we have to wear our own blazer to attend the briefing. so i started to be nervous *where am i going to get a blazer??*

then, mom brought me to shopping mall and we tried to look for a blazer. ok la i admit that i was super excited to see the blazers in the shopping mall! i've always loved to wear formal attire and this was one of the reasons i chose to major in business administration! weird huh =p

tried on a seed blazer and camwhored like crazy in the fitting room! do i look like a ceo? *say YES la pleaseee*

suddenly feel like sharing what i've learnt through my current job.

besides feeding kids, bathing kids and making up baby's bottle etc that i mentioned in my previous posts, i've also learnt a NEW thing ...... diapering! XD if i weren't working, i would never ever diaper a kid!! i always stood like at least 3 meters away whenever i saw people diapering their baby, and my face would show the facial expression of "ewwww" or "yucks". and now, diapering is not a nightmare for me anymore. tips: hold your breath, do not look at the things in the diaper when you change diaper for your kids, quickly throw the used diaper into rubbish bin, and wash your hands. kao dim!

okayy have you guys heard of Phonics? maybe you guys know about it, but i seriously did not know what the hell phonics is before i started to work as a kindergarten teacher. and i was amazed when i knew that my mom knows it -.- phonics is like... sounds of the alphabets. for example, a = ae, b = beh, c = ckeh...... so this is another thing that i've learnt through my job =D

~~in conclusion, my job has prepared me to be a good mother in the future~~ LOL

1. okay i'm just a little bit excited coz the status for my financial affidavit of support has finally changed to COMPLETED! hopefully my i-20 can arrive here in these few days =)

2. have had experience of taking care of a hyperactive kid. it was.... kinda challenging :) the 3 year old kid has serious problem in paying attention and controlling his temper. he always beats people and i was lucky enough to kena a few times. he pulled my hair and beat me when i tried to bring him back to the room. i think i'm going to be bald if he pulls my hair like that everyday. he's also "strong" to break my amethyst bracelets! T_T i've been searching for some ways to deal with the hyperactive kid..... and i will try my best to make him normal no matter what!

3. i is happy. coz kids said they like to see me wearing specs! XD okayla, i know i look cool with specs HAHAHA

4. can't wait for the predeparture briefing! hope to have some great times with the peeps and aww, i miss midvalley so much!

5. guess what i was doing? ta-daaaa! writing lesson plan!! omg i'm really like a teacher now =p

third week

third week of job officially ended. i've been working for seven days this week because it was the kindergarten's open day today. damn tired siaaa.... many parents have registered for their kids today and the kids will start school next month! my workload is gonna be heavier! *hopes boss can increase salary :p* speaking of which, i just realized that i'm gonna get my salary soon. two weeks to go! =D

since the last two weeks were holidays, we had some holiday programs for the kids, such as arts and crafts, swimming, music and movement, story telling, and cooking.

yeah got a pretty layout for my blog! red + black + brown = my style :D

have been searching for housing for months but i still cannot find a nice one!! grrrrrr. and the problem of my financial affidavit of support has not been solved. that's why i still cannot get my i-20 now. why can't everything go smoothly? why should i be worried about everything? haih..... i know, that's life. you just can't expect everything to be perfect D:

so it was my turn to bathe the kids today. my shirt and jeans got wet after bathing them. yea i was so noob -.- i've also learned how to make up a baby's bottle, like how much of milk powder and water i should use etc. i never thought that i would have to feed kids, bathe kids and make up baby's bottle before i become a mother. see, life is always unexpected.

however, i'm glad that i work at this kindergarten. i love seeing the kids running and playing around. i love listening to and answering their innocent questions. yeah i love kids! =)

it was the 4th day today. and i've already answered tons of funny questions, from seagrass to tornado. the kids are interested in almost everything! they like to ask why until sometimes i don't know how to explain -.- well, this is a good thing. kids should be like that. i hate those parents who don't allow their kids to ask questions. they are like ... killing their kids' imagination!! i've seen lots of examples like this. the grown-up kids do not know how to imagine, they only know how to follow the rules. sad case, right? that's why we shouldn't feel annoyed by kids who like to ask questions. what we should do is to listen to their questions and give them the correct answers.

i've also heard lots of funny conversations of the kids. one was like that:

a few kids were sitting together and playing some rubber toys.

kid A : (pointed at a toy beetle) can a beetle fly?

kid B : of course cannot! you see, it doesn't have wings.

kid A : teacher, can i let the beetle wear a shirt that has wings on it so that the beetle can fly?

me : ......errrrr (thinking of how to answer)

kid C : how can a beetle wear a shirt? see, it's so small and a shirt is so big!

kid A : i will let it wear a very tight one!

HAHAHAA their conversations always make me lmao. i wish i could have such innocent mind like them. haih, if only i could turn back time ...... however, this might not be a good thing for people around me XD sometimes i think this chinese proverb is so true: 近朱者赤，近墨者黑 (one who stays near vermilion gets stained red, one who stays near ink gets stained black). it means you will become a good person when you mix around with a bunch of good people and you will become a bad person when you mix around with a bunch of bad people (erm... something like that). this always happens to me! when i watch nodame cantabile again and again, i start to act like the dumb nodame, or imitate her unconsciously. when i'm always be with the kids, i start to act like a 3 year old kid -.- apparently mom gets annoyed at me now! ;D perhaps i shouldn't work at a kindergarten.

first day on the job

so today was my first day on the job, and i'm dead tired now. i feel like my whole body is gonna break into pieces. never knew that being a kindergarten teacher can be so tiring. i initially thought that kids are cute and they always listen to their teachers, but heck i was wrong!!

i'm gonna describe what i've done today. woke up at 6:30am, and i was already at the kindergarten before 7:45am. waited for those kids aged between 2 to 6 to come and brought them to their classes. then i became teacher lew and taught the 5 year old kids according to the their class schedule. the subjects that i taught today were bahasa malaysia and computer. teaching bahasa malaysia was the most "kek sim" part. i taught them things like "b-a ba, j-u ju, baju" and they could forget what i taught in less than 1 minute -.- and they couldn't really pay attention in the class. sometimes they listened to me, sometimes they ignored me :( okaylo, kids mar.

besides teaching them, i have to help to bathe the kids. i haven't bathed them today, but it's gonna be my turn next week. and it will be my first ever time to bathe kids!! they had their lunch after bath, and i had to feed a 3 year old kid. it wasn't so hard to feed him =) they had revisions after lunch and this time i got along well with the kids. after that, they had a nap for 2 hours. thank god, finally i could get some peace. i spent the 2 hours reading some children's story books xD played with them after they woke up until their parents came to bring them back.

there are different types of kids i met here. some are shy while some are talkative. some are well-behaved while some are naughty. there's a cute 2 year old boy with long eyelashes at the kindergarten. he doesn't know how to talk, he only knows how to make some weird sounds like nodame does: "*&^%$#@" or some alien language that i don't understand at all. he likes to scream and can be annoying sometimes, but he really looks cute! btw, i did notice that kids get satisfied easily. they could also spend a few hours playing the same toy. okaylo perhaps some kids or just female kids.

it has been almost three weeks since my last blog post. set it private because i was too lazy to update my blog, and now it's "reopened"!! =p irasshaimase!

so i have been unemployed for 1 month. and yea, i have become a real otaku now. i spend more time facing my laptop than facing my mom -.- i really want to get off my lazy butt but holidays just make me getting lazier. dont get shocked if i tell you that i haven't fully unpacked my stuff that i brought back from inti! XD and you would definitely agree that i'm an otaku if i posted a pic of my room here. ooops, no comics and coolsome computing devices. okayla my room is more like this

got my medical check-up done on may 14! i know it was early, but i was just too nervous with all those stuff. things usually go wrong when you care so much about them. now i have some problems with my FAS and i don't know when i can get my i-20. haih. *prays hard*

did the mantoux test. the bubble formed after injection was just 5mm in diameter!

had a gathering with some of my high school friends - shiqi, sheauwa, chushan, xiangen and suting =D

and i had this non-spicy chicken soup noodle at that tomyam restaurant XD dah biasa la, ice kacang tak mau kacang, cendol tak mau cendol.

bought a hush puppies luggage bag. it's cute! :D

of course i had nice food! ban chang kuih, ohh-cubi, apom and many more! there will be more pics of food for my "penang" album on facebook ;)

haha this is random. i just did a quiz on facebook and omg it was so true! the result was:

just came back from my selangor trip. arghh traveling by car was freaking tiring! shall go to bed after i finish this post. *yawn*

so i had visited a few places in selangor, such as banting, jenjarom, telok panglima garang, klang and petaling jaya. i noticed that it rains a lot at selangor.... WHY NOT IN PENANG?! it's so damn hot here =(

went to dongzen temple on the first day =D

i like this - 惭愧 (means "be ashamed"). it was written by hsing yun, a very well-known buddhist monk, also the founder of fo guang shan.

a statue of the baby buddha in the lumbini garden at dongzen temple. learned about this in REL 200 class: buddha took seven steps after he was born, pointed with one hand to the sky and another hand to the ground, and said "in the sky above and the sky below, only i am holy" (天上天下，唯我独尊).

my first attempt

alone at home this afternoon, so i decided to make fried rice for lunch. it was my first ever attempt at cooking fried rice. mom never taught me how to cook fried rice, and i never learned this in the kemahiran hidup class also.

spent half an hour to open the can because i don't know how to use a can opener! stared at the can opener and tried to figure out how to use it, finally i ended up using my own way to open the can. i poked a hole on top of the can then cut it by using scissors -.- i started to cook after preparing all the ingredients. simply added some tomato slices, carrot slices, baby corns, eggs and sauce, and this is what i'm eating now......

i know it looked so ewwww coz i put too much sauce already. this was the darkest fried rice i ever had! well, the taste was still okay. my fried rice wasn't that bad afterall :) but i seriously need to learn cooking in the 3-month holiday. i can't probably eat fried rice/ fried eggs/ stir-fried vegetables/ instant noodles everyday when i'm in the states right?

as usual, i reached lcct 3 hours before my flight. lepak around this place that i might not be able to go anymore. byeeee lcct :)

went to Mahindarama Buddhist Temple today. it's a Theravada Buddhist temple along kampar road, which is one of the major meditation centers for buddhists in Malaysia. for those who are not from penang, you might not know how famous this temple is. almost every buddhist student loves to go to Mahindarama Buddhist Temple for blessings before their exam. thus, the temple will be very crowded a few weeks before national exams like UPSR, PMR and SPM. the two things that you must bring when you go there are your exam time table and milk (that's why this temple is also called "guleng hood").

planned to go to the Penang Peranakan Mansion that i've always wanted to go, but lousy me didn't know the address. i told dad that it was somewhere near the Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base and Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion. so dad drove around that area but we still couldn't find Penang Peranakan Mansion! T____T

i thought i could at least visit the Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base, but it was closed on sunday! so sad :( Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base is at one of historical shophouses at Armenian Street. it was initially owned by a straits chinese named Cheah Joo Siang, then was used as the base of Dr. Sun Yat Sen from 1909 to 1911. some important meetings were held at this place such as the Penang Conference in 1910. besides that, this was also the place where the movie "Road to Dawn" was filmed.

i could only manage to take a pic of this :(

randomly walked into a gallery which is at the same row with the Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base, and it looks like the houses at malacca that i went last time! it's still keeping its original historic interior, such as the air well (that i love so much). the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum in Malacca has almost the same interior, including the air well too! besides that, i also found the streets at that area look so much like the streets at malacca, and i thought i was in malacca! ;D

that's all. i shall go to the Penang Peranakan Mansion and Dr. Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base one day!

finally, nodame is back! =D i've just finished watching the nodame cantabile finale that i've been anticipating so long and i *heart* it! i'm now loving nodame more and more for her free-spirited ways, her awesomeness and also her dumbness.

i just knew that noda megumi actually exists in real life! the story goes like this, when tomoko ninomiya (author of nodame cantabile) was looking for ideas for a new serial publication, a female fan posted a photo of her playing piano in a messy room on the bulletin board of a website operated by tomoko ninomiya. the name of the female fan is noda megumi! she had graduated from a music college and is teaching piano at fukuoka. so tomoko ninomiya called noda megumi on the phone to get ideas for her manga series. cool! i wonder does the noda megumi in real life meet her chiaki senpai? :D mukyaaaaaaa~

phewww finally it's connected! :))) i had been living 1 day without internet coz my laptop couldn't connect to the wireless network yesterday! that was definitely not my laptop's problem. damn the lousy ebb! so i went to buy the LAN cable after my mpw final. it's connected now and the speed is so freaking fast! i finished downloading 1 episode of drama within 2 minutes! damn fast right?! it would definitely take me a few days to download that episode if i didn't buy the cable -.- blogger has also fixed its problem! so i've uploaded some pics mentioned in my previous post :)

played some simple pranks on others and the pranks worked successfully! hahahaa people nowadays are just too innocent :p

it was 1am and i just realized that today is april fool's day. so i scrolled through my window live messenger friend list and decided to play pranks on those who were still online. i told them that i had received some virus messages from them and they believed it! HAHAHAHA (except 2 clever ones -.-) maybe i have that kind of *innocent* look and people just simply believe what i say :p so i got 6 victims within a few minutes! awesome me ;)

googled some april fool's hoaxes and i found some simple but cool ones!

1. rub your victim's door knob with soap when you go to his/her rooms! imagine what will happen after that? your victim cannot open the door when he/she wants to go out! hahahaha *evil laugh* believe me, this works perfectly on inti's door knobs! i will try this later. shhhhhh.

2. borrow your victim's laptop and make a screen shot of the desktop. make it as the desktop background and hide all the icons (right click on the dekstop - click "view" - unclick "show desktop icons") then the desktop will look normal but nothing will happen when your victim tries to click the icons! xDDDD awesome sungguh!

离别在即的事实，就好似一片随风飘浮的羽毛。我使劲地想把它吹走，可风偏偏把它吹向我。眼看它快要着地，我的心也开始沉重了起来。

尤其这几天独处的时候，我总是不禁想起这二十几个月来所发生的事情，自己一个人沉浸在对过去的缅怀。突然惊醒，才发觉我的眼眶有点湿，嘴角却是泛着微微笑意。想起当初那个懵懵懂懂来到这个陌生地方的黄毛小丫头，才恍然发觉自己已经长大了。虽然我还是有那么一丁点的不成熟，但至少我再也不是从前那个不知天高地厚、爱惹事生非、总以为天塌下来有爸爸妈妈帮我挡的小女孩了。在这里，我遇到形形色色的人，也开始懂得人心原来可以很复杂。有些人表面上友善，其实是为了掩饰他们阴险的另一面。人心叵测原来一点都不假，付出真诚的代价就是被无情的伤害。试问在这个世界上，有谁是真正为异己而活？只有懂得保护自己的人，才能够在这个社会立足。

yeah i've just done my biology quiz 2. next: biology assignment 1, assignment 2, small group discussion & test 2, world religion test 2 & presentation and malaysian studies presentation! @.@

was facing dilemma of choosing between Indiana University Bloomington and Ohio State University. yea i was thinking about this all the time, no matter what i was doing. and friends were annoyed coz i kept asking for their opinions hahaha. finally i made up my mind after listing out the differences between the 2 schools and searching for people's comments on some forums. so my final decision is osuuuuuuuuuu! go buckeyes!

yea Indiana University Bloomington is a very good school and it's ranked 19th among the US business schools! even higher than the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon, USC Marshall School of Business, UIUC College of Business and Wisconsin School of Business. plus the A grade in teaching quality & facilities and the A+ grade in job placement! it's such a good business school and i really wanted to go there. however, i still prefer the nice campus area of OSU, even though IU is in one of the 5 most beautiful campuses in the US. OSU is just like a ...... town! me likey :) its Fisher College of Business is not bad too! i believe that i can get a better college experience there.

so i'm gonna send email to miss sri and i hope i will not regret after that. shall go to do the bank draft thingy by myself once my final decision is approved by godfather. time to grow up! :)

p/s: there are equestrian, fencing and many kinds of martial arts such tang soo do, wushu, jeet kune do, filipino martial art and haedong kumdo at osu. AWESOME!

new layout for my blog! credits to teh awesome kid :)) awww i love this layout so much. but i think it would be nicer if that domo were a dancing domo LOL

google really rocks, i've just found the ways to cure my painful cracked peeling lips! i have this problem since i came to inti. my upper lip and the area above it become red, then start cracking and peeling. i apply lip balm and it heals up after one or two weeks, but it comes again after 1 month -.- so i googled it and i found out that many people have this problem too. this might be caused by lip biting, lip licking, vitamin B2 deficiency, smoking, over exposure to sun, bacterial infection and chlorine in swimming pool. all of these might be the causes for my case, except smoking. okaylo i shall not go to swim anymore, chlorine makes my lip cracks and my hair turns brown!

another wasted weekend. NO WAY, i shall not be lazy! i must finish at least 2 chapters of biology tonight!

midvalley again

yay the biology class ended super early today! :D went to midvalley with aheong after the class and we were really suey, the bus that we took to go to ktm station broke down after 1 minute we got on the bus! -.- so the bus stopped at the roadside and we had to wait for another bus to come. not to mention that the weather was so hot that time but the only thing i could do was to wait. finally there was a cityliner after 10 minutes. and guess what? we paid RM1.50 for taking the broken down bus and yet we had to pay another RM1.00 for taking the cityliner! zzzz

so we reached midvalley at about 1pm. went to hunt for food after buying movie tickets. it was kyung joo again! :D and we had our dinner at kenny rogers today.

yea it's an awesome day today! i didn't need to wake up early for classes and brush my teeth with my eyes closed. had my awesome filet-o-fish lunch today too! yokatta :D okay next week is gonna be a less-sugar week for me coz i've been drinking too much high-sugar soft drinks in the past few weeks and i just drank 2 cups of coke just now! NOOOOOOOO i don't wanna die of diabetes!

ebb doesn't suck today. i don't need to wait ages for the pages to load and my window live messenger doesn't keep signing me out :D besides that, i finished downloading all the movies and dramas that i want from dc++ within half an hour just now! usually it takes several hours for me to download 1 movie -.-

i have to say this, nilai's weather is just wayyyyy too awesome! and it's so sleep inducing xD unlike nilai, penang is so darn hot recently. the temperature in penang is 33 degree celcius today @_@ and the highest recorded temperature was 36 degree celcius, on last tuesday. i was in penang last week and it was so hot even at night. i'm not exaggerating, i kept sweating every second!

okay i shall not waste this awesome day! i had already wasted the past few days without doing anything :p

arghhhhh that feeling is back again! and it's even worse now. i don't know what's going on with me. i refuse to talk and i'm like... hating the whole world? i don't know. no one will ever understand me. and i hate people who act like they understand me well. they think everything they say is right and i should follow. BS! who the hell are you? you don't know what i'm thinking AT ALL! and please stop crapping in front of me!

so i lock myself in my room for hours and listen to music. i hope this music therapy really works. i'm gonna sleep earlier tonight and drink a cup of lavender tea before i sleep :)

i used to love going to weddings because it's so romantic to see two people profess their love to each other. but it's so sad when you attend a wedding of a person who is just a few years older than you. I FEEL SO OLD! :(

it was the fourth day of lunar new year. met up with meiyen and qiaothung at the same place again, but jiapei and hongmin weren't with us this time :( this was so bad. i hate it when the number of people around me keeps decreasing and the feeling of loneliness appeared again! gahhhh. anyway, ALL THE BEST to jiapei and hongmin who had just left the country few days ago to pursue their degree at new zealand and australia. take care and muackssss.

Chinese New Year is just 2 days away! screwed up the biology test 1 and i'm going back to penang tomorrow morning :) was too bored so i decided to write something here.

sharing this with the horse people: according to some chinese zodiac website, the horse people didn't have great luck for the last two years and year 2010 is gonna be a turning point for us. 3 lucky stars are coming to our life now, they are power star, scholarship star and financial star. this means the horse people will have great career opportunity, reputation and money luck in this year of tiger. the horse people will also have pretty good love relationship this year. the only bad thing for horse people is that villains are still around.

career: job opportunity is waiting for the horse people. projects go smoothly and schedules will be under control. besides that, people will also be around whenever you need help. however, you still need to pay attention on job details. any mistake you make will provide a chance for your enemy to block your career path.

money: your income will increase and you will also spend more time on money related events than the previous years. but, you must not make any contribution for the reason of saving face. anyway, the horse people will have good savings in the year of tiger.

she's one of my favorite stars and i started to listen to her songs when i was 6. i love her songs, dramas, movies and everything. it's always been my dream to go to her concerts and now i got the chance! yes the ticket prices are a little expensive for me (the cheapest one is RM100 and it's more expensive on the next day), but i really do not want to miss this great chance! i actually regretted not going to eason's concert at sunway lagoon last year. i would definitely go if i could turn back the time! but the problem now is nobody wants to go with me lar :( my friends are not her fans and my lousy sis said she will go only if i pay for her. yerrrr, i don't care. i must get someone to go with me before the tickets are sold out.

p/s: sammi will be filming Summer Holiday 2 at redang island in march! too bad i can't go :(

went to sunway pyramid with the peeps yesterday and i was dead tired... but me likeyyyy :) had nice food that i can never get in nilai, took some nice pictures and also tried on some nice but fexpensive dresses.

anyway i didn't buy much yesterday. teehee ^__^ i always remind myself to save $ after experiencing "bankruptcy" few weeks ago. i had realized how important money is and how suffering our lives will be if we don't have money.

i saw nodame cantabile and sugar sugar rune dvds again when i went to popular yesterday. they are so freaking cheap now, only RM25.90 each! and i remember that sugar sugar rune's was like RM49 few months ago. however, i stood there for a long time and then walked away without buying anything, like what i did before. this was really a big step for me. btw, i think the greatest improvement of mine is that i haven't bought any M&M's this sem! hohoho i'm so proud of myself :p

okay i shall start studying for the biology test next week and then i can start packing my stuff. chinese new year is just 10 days away! i really can't wait to go back to penang. omg FOOOOOOOOOOOOD! i actually don't mind to gain weight, i just want food! *drooling*

so i went to batu caves and watched Thaipusam celebration for the first time in my life today! it was really an eye-opening and satisfying experience for me :)

my first volleyball lesson

had my first biology quiz today. it was still okay for me, but i had forgotten the components of nucleotides and what triglycerides contain T_____T lousy me with a lousy brain. i hope i didn't screw up the quiz. this was the first time i tried to LOVE science and i spent longer time for it but still...... okaylo, i will try harder next time!

guess what? i played volleyball for the first time in my life today! hahaha it was fun even though my hands are swollen now, looks like i was abused :p many funny things happened when noobs playing volleyball. ROFL. actually i felt so sorry to the people who were sitting at the benches there, especially a guy that i almost broke his nose. SORRY. i hope nothing will happen to your nose. there were also a couple sitting at the bench. i think they must be very annoyed coz our ball liked them a lot. felt sorry to the trees too coz i had broken lots of the branches. and SORRY again, coz we decided to go to play volleyball every tuesday from now on! so people, please be careful when you are sitting at the benches beside the court :)

yays i have no classes tomorrow! will be an otaku for one day :D don't feel like going out coz i will have bruises on my hands tomorrow. hohoho damn funny! btw, i feel like joining chinese kickboxing. anyone wants to join too? X)

hectic life started!

time passed by in the blink of an eye and the 4th week is coming! what the heck... i have done nothing!

had enjoyed the first 2 weeks which were kinda relaxing. no assignments, no quizzes and no tests. what i did in the 2 weeks were sleeping, watching dramas, stalking people on facebook, crapping on plurk, shouting "sien arrrrrr" and thinking of what to do. well, i don't have the chance to shout "sien arrrrr" anymore. hectic college life has started. biology quiz 1 and lab report, world religion test 1 and project, mpw assignments ...... everything comes at the same time! *faints*

you know i'm always dumb and i always make stupid decisions, but i'm really glad that i chose art stream instead of science stream. i think that was the only one correct decision i made in my life, so far. frankly, i hate sciences since i was a kid and i was sure that my future will have nothing to do with sciences. i was damn happy after sitting for the science exam in spm coz i thought i was already freed from science but ... i was wrong :( i'm now studying for the biology quiz 1 on next tuesday. nucleus, fatty acid, protein, DNA ...... omg i'm gonna faint. biology, i will conquer you! X)

btw i'm anticipating for my first trip to batu caves! haha i know i'm lousy, even ty who lives in kuching also went to batu caves before. i was really excited when our world religion lecturer told us that we are going to watch the Thaipusam festival celebration at batu caves and write a report about the celebration. yays!

feel so confused and depressed these few days. i don't know what's wrong with me. everything seems so dull to me and i feel like there's a heavy stone upon my heart making me hard to breathe. i don't even feel like talking. i just want to keep my mouth shut most of the time. smiling with an open heart has become so difficult for me now. i don't know how to smile when i see my friends in school. i try to give a sincere smile but i can't do it. my smile just looks so fake. sometimes i get amused because of some funny little things but i get depressed again within a few seconds. cureless. i wish there's someone who is willing to listen to me even though i don't know how to describe those strange feelings of mine. usually i just keep everything to myself because i don't want people to think that i'm just trying to get some attention or throwing out some excuse, but this makes me suffer.

i need to see a psychiatrist. i wanna smile sincerely, i wanna breathe fresh air.

what a boring holiday

this was the first time i wished i had classes. i was freaking bored to death! tried to escape the boredom by reading biology text book but i fell asleep after reading a few pages. yea biology is even more boring -.- tried another way: watching drama but it made my eyes tired. so i spent 2 hours to do this.

okay i know it doesn't look nice. *feels paiseh for posting a fugly drawing here* it has been almost 4 years since my last pencil sketch. frankly, i felt a bit unfamiliar when drawing this but i've found the feeling that i lost long time ago! it's the feeling of...... err, i don't know how to describe. it just makes me feel calm and relaxed. i was actually inspired by Painter of Wind, the korean drama that i'm watching now, to continue pencil sketching that i had abandoned for 4 years. i totally agree with what moon geun young said in that drama, "画画是思念" =)

it's a brand new year but i'm still the same lousy, lazy and dumb me. and the most saddening thing is...... my jokes are still COLD. nobody laughs after i tell jokes. okaylo i'm used to it already T_____T

second week of school started and i just had my first biology lab yesterday. adding and mixing chemicals are fun to me but the animals in the lab are scaryyyyy! i saw turtles, snakes, some big lizards (i don't know whether they are lizard, whatever lar i don't care. just call them big lizards) and other animals that i don't know in the lab. i also saw cacings that are used to feed the turtles and some snake and mouse specimens. omg omg omg. i have to see these cute little things for 4 months :S

currently watching this korean drama that i got from tzinyee - The Painter Of Wind. not bad huh. moon geun young is seriously good at acting! btw this drama reminds me of Jewel In The Palace. yerr i wanna watch that lar but i can't use dc++ now :(

btw i will stop having a boring life starting from next week! yeah. the malaysian studies lecturer has given us some assignments and i will be joining volleyball club! seriously, i want to change myself! will start the first step by learning how to play volleyball. it's gonna be hard for me because i hate balls. i always refuse to play basketball, volleyball or whatever ball because i think playing ball is boring. but now, i'm going to try it! :D

new semester starts tomorrow! heard many people sighing xD come on, it's our last semester in inti. we're going to leave this place that has given us tonnes of sweet memories and go our separate ways after four months. and i ... will be walking my own path alone, without the cas and scbs ='( so, please appreciate every single second truly from now on and enjoy the last semester in inti!

since today is the last day of our holidays and we didn't want to waste the whole day rotting in our rooms, so tzinyee, jiehui and i went to midvalley and the gardens. i didn't buy anything today since i bolui but i had the chance to take some pictures with the domokuns! yays. were so excited when i saw so many domokuns in the shop. wanted to bring all of them home but cannot because i don't have $$$ T______T *hint: my 20th birthday is coming!* heheeeeeeeeee

today is the last day of 2009. almost everyone is going to new year countdown parties while i'm rotting in my room, like what i did in the past 18 years of my life. okay i know this is sad, but getting older is nothing to be happy about right? why should i squeeze myself with lots of people at a place where i can have my purse stolen, just to scream out the ten numbers? ridiculous. anyway, goodbye 2009. i'm feeling guilty now for wasting one more year.

btw it's the fourth day since i came back from penang. having a damn boring life here. peeps, come back faster! block s is so quiet without you guys. (oopss, i'm not saying that you guys are noisy. i know i'm the noisiest :p) went to mph and upo 2 days in a row. you can see how bored i am :[

went to midvalley yesterday and we watched The Princess And The Frog! it's a niceeeee movie! me likey Tiana because she's strong and independent. she works so hard to achieve her dream and never sits there waiting for her Fraggi Pruto to come and give her what she wants :) btw i saw some ex-schoolmates that i haven't met for so long when queuing up for tickets =D

okay let me talk about FOOD now. we had our lunch at Carl's Jr and dinner at The Spaghetti Farm! the Carl's Catch Fish Sandwich is so damn bigggg =S besides that, i bought a meiji ice cream at shojikiya. hmmm, first time trying it. it was so-so.

back at INTI! supposed to reach inti at 4:30pm but flight was delayed. damn it. so we reached inti at 5:30pm and managed to get our stuff from the storeroom before AO was closed. spent more than 3 hours to clean my room and unpack my stuff =S

i looked at my alarm clock when i had done everything... OMG it was 11:30pm! i was like *shyt! i haven't taken bath and had my dinner!* so i quickly went to take my bath. manatau.... my alarm clock actually showed the wrong time! it was still 9:30pm that time. HAHAHAAA damn funny sia. had cup noodles and milo for my dinner but now i'm feeling hungry :(

accompanied parents to shopping mall just now. didn't expect to buy anything today coz i already bought what i want, until i saw thissssssss!

the price was actually the main reason i bought it since i bolui. haih, i should have gotten a holiday job mar :( it was so damn cheap after discount! besides this, it has 12.0 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, 2.7" LCD, 20 shooting modes, magic filter like pinhole, pop art and wedding, intelligent auto, high ISO, AF tracking and bla bla bla. these are already enough for a noob like me :) also, it's WHITE in color! aww me likey. there are other colors like black, blue and pink.

started to pack my stuff while other people are still enjoying their holidays. *sigh* clothes, medicine, tupperware, laundry detergent, biology book, lavender buds, watches, glasses, masks, bag, keys...... oh yea, and the BG t-shirt that i just bought today! *hi5 to emily* btw i'm not gonna bring my xiaomas, pupu or whatever back to inti this time. next semester is gonna be a lonely one :(

will be spending 5 days in inti, without the cas and scbs. but i think i will have no time to rot also. have to wash my bed linen, blanket, curtains and some clothes. yay, i can use the washing machine anytime i want! :p besides that, i have to go to upo for the admission thingy, read the biology book, buy some food at times and also enjoy the high speed internet connection in block S!

met up with sheau wa and xiang en today and we had our lunch at ichiban restaurant. talked a lot about our high school memories. now i remember those embarrassing things i did during my high school life =.= feel like banging my head against the wall. can i not remember those things FOREVER?!

wanted to watch The Princess And The Frog but the seberang perai branch still doesn't have it. wth. i've sent a complaint email to that cinema five days ago and now i still haven't received a single reply. are they ignoring me? *shows the look* btw, we got The Princess And The Frog calendars when we bought tickets to watch Avatar!

Avatar was quite impressive, especially its artistic imagery. actually i think the beautiful forest in Avatar looks like the forest in some Barbie movie :D although i don't really like the story, but it reveals the selfishness of human beings which is TRUE. sometimes humans are just so selfish. they don't care about others just to get what they want even though they understand selfishness brings nothing but loss. perhaps it's a true human nature.had my second plate of penang CHAR KUOY TEOW since november 2, 2009 (the day i came back from nilai)! sad right? :p

Good Job yt! i really shouldn't spend so much on the things that i already have or i can get from somewhere else (eg. pps). btw mom was the one who paid for my two pairs of new jeans just now. what a lousy daughter, saves her own money and spends mom's money :p

met up with friends at the usual place today and we watched this - The Storm Warriors II! many people said it sucks but i don't think so. it's AWESOME okay. i actually could understand the whole story when I was watching it. there were some touching parts which had made me cried. for instance, when some good people were killed by the evil warlord, when Chu Chu was killed by Wind and when Cloud gave up his life to save Wind and Second Dream. damn touching right? the guy beside me was crying like hell. LOL this was the first time i saw a guy crying like this :p

okay ignore that guy. this movie has really great visual effects, especially in those fight scenes. i found that Wind looked like a vampire after he became evil. xD btw Ekin Cheng and Aaron Kwok memang cool lar, although they are already "old". Nicholas Tse also performed well in this movie. can't wait to watch his performance in The Bodyguards and Assassins which will be released this friday!

today i saw damn a lot of people that i haven't seen for ages, including someone. i was so damn happy just now because i really didn't expect to see him there. besides that, i also ate damn a lot today xD had hong kong food for lunch and a trans fat-free peach cream cake at secret recipe after coming out from the cinema. oishii!

ohhh i really LOVE december. it's really a good month to go shopping because SALE is everywhere! i bought a Puma tee and some earrings today. will go for another time to shop for more.

i'm now addicted to DISNEY CHANNEL! spend longer time for it now instead of other channels like AEC. Totally Spies, Lilo & Stitch, Mr. Bean, Phineas and Ferb, Mickey Mouse, Pucca and other cartoons seem more interesting than those HK dramas. well, some people might think cartoon is only for kids. actually it's good for "old people" like us to keep our minds young! cartoon is for everyone! ;Dcurrently watching this Disney series - Wizards of Waverly Place. it's about the Russo family which includes the former wizard daddy, mortal mother and the three wizards in training siblings. the funny stories always make me rofl. but what has amazed me is that Selena Gomez looks a lot prettier in this show! i remember that she was kinda annoying in Another Cinderella Story and i didn't like her :p
did an otaku test at some website and this is my result! hahaa i'm an Otaku Trainee! (at least i'm not a noob :p) will try to improve my otakuness!

i'm officially 19 now. perhaps i should be more mature and independent. like what the kid said, i should not be wuliao anymore xD i really want to promise you, kid. but it's damn hard you know? LOL

hmmm nothing special this year. wanted to celebrate my 19th birthday at langkawi island but cancelled because of my younger sister's exam :( btw i slept damn early the night before my birthday. were woken up by some birthday messages when i was dreaming. damn touched. Thank you, friends! i woke up early in the next morning too, the first thing i did was to sign in my facebook and plurk. Thanks again to my friends!

thought of having a birthday cake for my breakfast but that lousy bakery didn't have nice cakes :( however, i ate lots of food on my birthday :p alamak, everything about my birthday is just food food FOOD! went to a seafood restaurant at bukit tambun with family for dinner. yay CRABS!

i'm now "jobless", rotting at home everyday and having my otaku life. wake up after 12pm everyday (2pm sometimes), lunch-laptop-dinner-laptop-sleep. laptop is like my everything now ;p mom keeps mumbling about my unhealthy lifestyle. i think she's gonna throw my laptop away someday LOL

btw i've abandoned my facebook and plurk recently because of some addictive computer games, but not the violent ones. i freaking hate those killing games. i just don't understand why people can go crazy over those violent killing games. i prefer games like wedding dash, diner dash, diaper dash, cooking dash, super granny etc.

wedding dash 2 - the game that i play everyday. it doesn't make me feel bored though. i started playing it long time ago and now i have a 108340 highscore ;)

more and more movies released in december! i'm gonna watch Bodyguards and Assassins (十月围城)! it's a chinese action movie starring donnie yen, leon lai, nicholas tse, tony leung and fan bing bing. this movie tells about how the bodyguards protect Sun Yat Sen from assasins in 1905 hong kong. btw, i'm gonna pay a visit to Sun Yat Sen museum next week! woohooooo.p.s: it's saturday again! gonna chiak ho liao with family tonight. and perhaps going to shopping mall after that? *dances*

just came back from the mall and i'm damn tired now ;D met up with meiyen and qiaothung this afternoon and we went to watch New Moon. it was awesome! IMO it's better than Twilight. apparently robert pattinson and kristen stewart have improved their acting in New Moon. They are not so kayu now. also, the visual effect is damn good and i love the wolves in this movie ;) but, i really don't understand why robert pattinson looks so old in New Moon -.-

and he was the sharkboy in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl?! i was like O_o ZOMG! when i knew this. look, he was still a kid that time.

just came back from nilai. hohoho i survive! thank God. was worried and being paranoid for the whole night yesterday :p i think i've become more independent now. i've also learned something today. Relying on other people will cause you to gain nothing. To be successful, what you should do is to overcome your fear and take the first step. this will be my best birthday present ever!
some random things that happened today:

- woke up at 4:30am and reached penang airport at 6:00am *yawn* damn sleepy.

- when i was waiting for boarding, there was a man who was in formal attire with an office bag sitting beside me and reading some documents. he looked like he was going to attend some meeting. what came into my mind was CEO! okay maybe he isn't a ceo, but what he was doing was cool! i wish i can do that in the future ;)

- i saw a tourist pointed at some batik clothes in a souvenir shop and said: "These are beautiful!" :D

- i hate people who don't queue up! it's unfair for other people! shame on you.

- guess who did i see at penang airport? Mr. Hwong Seng, the ex-principal of my high school! it has been 4 years since i last saw him and he was really a good principal in jit sin. btw i can always see some principals or teachers everytime i go to penang airport. i saw my mathematics teacher, the principal of my high school and other teachers last few times LOL

- watched sunrise from the plane. it's the most beautiful sunrise i've ever seen!

- reached LCCT at 8:00am and luckily i didn't need to wait for bus. also, i didn't get on the wrong bus LOL reached inti at 9:10am and met aheong at upo. there was nobody except some staff in the office that time. good. =) jiehui and emily reached after that. settled everything and now my otaku life is officially started! opps, do not forget the 2 essays.

- had my lunch at KFC. zomg KFC at LCCT sucks. dear the manager: did you get the correct recipe?

- was using my laptop when waiting for boarding. a tourist wanted to borrow my laptop for a while for helping her friend to check the prices of airasia tickets. when waiting for the webpage to load, she asked me: "where are you from? vietnam?" i was like =.='' i don't think i look like a vietnamese. i'm so dark. she also told me that she was going to bali. woww. that's my dream place to go! ♥ btw the lousy webpage still couldn't load after she refreshed it for many times. felt sorry to her :)

- finished 1 packet of mnm's when waiting at the departure hall.

- saw an air stewardess who looks like sammi cheng! xD

arghhhh! i still couldn't think of any point for my essays after staring at the monitor for a few hours. i feel like banging my head against the wall now! T______T the deadline that i set for my essays has passed and now i still haven't done my essays. i'm such a failure :(

btw i just received a message from upo that my transcripts are ready. going back to inti alone this thursday by taking the earliest flight at 7:10am and coming back to penang on the same day. *sigh* have to wake up at 5:00am zzzz it's damn hard for me to wake up so early coz i usually wake up after 12pm :p

anyways, i wish that the essays, documents, online applications or whatever will be done soon. can't wait to start my otaku life after that! *inserts rocks emoticon*

saw a "sleeping in airports" group on facebook and i joined LOL i saw yokeching on its fans list after i joined. *hi5 roomie!* hahaaa both of us like to sleep in airports.

my friends know i love airports. i feel excited everytime i go to airports LOL i'd love to go to the airport super duper early, like few hours before my flight, then walk around the airport or sit down to have a drink and some snacks. okayy i admit that i'm a weirdo. i love airports since i was little and i had this weird thought that time: living in airport. LOL what a weird kid.

i had an experience of sleeping in airport before and i would not forget it forever :D that was few months ago, when we just flew back from terengganu airport after our redang trip. we reached LCCT at about 11pm. jiehui and i decided to sleep in LCCT coz we were going to take the earliest flight back to our hometowns next morning while others went back to inti. we had our supper at mcdonalds and i had a filet-o-fish as usual. *nah, i'm not going to talk about filet-o-fish.* after that, we went to find comfortable seats, lay down and got ready to sleep. well, sleeping in airports might be nothing for some pro airport sleepers, but we had experienced something that they might not have a chance to experience -- FOGGING! i don't know i should call this lucky or what :p

LCCT was closed until 5am that day. so we had to spend the 5 hours outside LCCT. the uncomfortable plastic chairs and the smelly fog made me couldn't sleep :( tried a few places and poses, finally i managed to sleep for 3 hours. luckily i didn't oversleep and miss my flight :D
tips: bring a mask if you're gonna sleep in airport. oh ya don't forget to bring a pillow and a blanket also.

i'm feeling upset and down now for no reason. tried to cheer myself up by disturbing my sis who was practicing additional mathematics and forcing her to listen to me singing Poker Face. evil sis huh. but still, i failed to cheer myself up. trying the other methods: crapping here and listening to songs at maximum volume. i'm gonna be deaf someday.

the "i freakin' hate myself!" thingy came into my mind again. my upsetness is getting worse now. wondering why i just couldn't do better in everything. *sigh*

What i've done

ahaaa This is a random post, about what i've done recently besides doing application thingy and writing essays.

One of the things that I do is watching hk dramas on ppstream. The drama in the picture is Beyond The Realm Of Conscience, one of the 2 grand tvb productions to celebrate along with the channel's 42nd anniversary. Starring Charmaine Sheh, Tavia Yeung, Moses Chan and Kevin Cheng. It's a really a fantastic drama! I actually prefer this drama than Born Rich. Tavia Yeung's acting is great but I think Sheren Tang deserves the award of the best actress more :)

Cloths, scissor, needle and thread. HAHA guess what I did?

LOL i made a mini shirt! It was actually for my doll but too bad, i measured the wrong size! i don't know what to do with this mini shirt now =____=Playing with plasticine :D Just found out that I have these at my house. So I decided to make 2 roses by using the plasticine :D

Holidays are too long. I will become blind if I watch dramas everyday. Can the holidays be shorter? btw i'm gonna practise driving after i settle the application things. But I must print out penang's map first! :p

went to the cinema and watched 2012 just now. shopped for some shirts for chinese new year after that and now i'm drinking shaken iced tea lemonade at starbucks. HAHAHA it's damn weird for a person who doesn't drink coffee to go to starbucks.

i actually came to this shopping mall where the cinema is located yesterday. came again today with sis just to watch 2012. sis went to study in the shopping mall library with her friends while i went to watch 2012 alone. there were not many people in the cinema today and i was sitting alone. this was good coz nobody could see or hear me crying like hell when watching the touching parts of the movie. 2012 was so damn scary! now i'm worried and scared. the world is going to end soon?! and everyone is gonna die in 2012?! oh nooooooo! i'm still young and i still have many dreams to be pursued! i don't wanna die so soon! :'( *prays to God*

btw, this movie was really a good disaster movie. great sound and visual effects! everything in the movie was so real!

humans, repent now! LOVE THE EARTH. do not forget God is always watching us.
