haven't updated my blog for like... 2 weeks? okay so here are some updates.
school started last wednesday, and i'm currently taking 5 classes: 3 logistics classes and 2 italian classes. italian classes are getting harder now, compared to the previous 5 classes that i took, which were "easy A's". almost everyone in my italian classes are italian majors/ minors and a lot of them had study abroad experience in italy. some of them are really good at speaking italian, especially a girl named courtney who speaks really like an italian omg. some people who were in my italian 202 classes and went study abroad at lecce, italy last summer, improved a lot in speaking and writing (although i'm still better). i'm really jealousssssssss. i would be speaking like an italian too if i had the chance to go study abroad last summer.
work from 7:30am to 10am everyday this semester. gosh you know what? i've to wake up at 5:55am everyday, and 5:30am if it's raining and i can't ride my bike to work. perhaps this is a good thing. god wants me to sleep early and wake up early lol, but i still feel tired everyday. i always fall asleep in classes and i just feel like taking nap after going home. gay puts me at b3 this semester yay one of my favorite classroom. although i wanna be in b1 (because oliver is there!), but it's okay coz it's just nextdoor! had not seen oliver and other babies in b1 for a while and they are now big boys and girls. guess what? i saw oliver climbing up and down this morning. sigh. i miss the little and tiny oliver. it's also almost time for leigha to learn walking! and i guess eva can crawl now. gavin is no longer the sad baby who always cries. and quintus is growing so big now! i wish i could work at b1 but b3 babies are adorable tooooo! since i work at 7:30am - 10am, so i always get to see jacob, cruz, brielle, and the new baby rebecca (she's an italian!). cruz is super cute omg i like how he smiles at me.
by the way i just knew my blood test result. doctor said my blood test result was good, creatinine level was around 0.9 now woohooo. so he suggested me to take 10mg after 2 weeks (i was supposed to take 12.5mg). what a good news!
oh i haven't talked about my super awesome trip. stayed at vancouver for around 5 days, then i flew back to the states - san francisco. stayed there for like, 3 days, then i took greyhound to los angeles. i stayed at a hostel at hollywood for 2 nights and the hi hostel at santa monica for 1 night. then i took greyhound to san diego and went back to columbus after 2 days. i would answer los angeles if you asked me which was my favourite place.
what i thought about vancouver: can't deny that it's really a good city for living. great scenery, great food, and lots of shopping malls! but i didn't shop there because the tax is tooooo high. i'd rather shop at columbus lol. i actually stayed at my aunt's house at richmond. you wouldn't believe what you see.... richmond is like a "small hong kong". i could hardly spot any white at richmond and everyone speaks cantonese!
what i thought about san francisco: i love the chinatown! so many asian restaurants and i couldn't decide which to go in! san francisco is a beautiful city but i wouldn't think of living there because there are too many cars and .... hills! you know what i was so tired climbing the hills and it was scary to look down from top of the hills.
what i thought about los angeles: i love hollywood and i was so glad that i chose to stay at hollywood. to me, hollywood is like new york city, "city that never sleeps". the chinatown is pretty big but i could hardly see any chinese.... i meant, there are more hispanics. also, it's not a problem to travel from one place to another place in los angeles although los angeles is reallyyy big, because they have a good public transportation system. beach at santa monica is pretty crowded but i still love it because ohio doesn't have beaches TT so i got my first ever bikini tan lines there lol but tooooo bad i didn't see any lengzhai sigh. p/s: i love ucla campus!
what i thought about san diego: great sea view and great beaches. i walked a lot in san diego because there's still room to improve for public transportation. love the la jolla cove, a place that i would never forget. it's so different with the beaches and i could see sea lions sunbathing under the sun! soooo adorable.
didn't know i already wrote that much. okay time to say ciao. my next trip will be disneyworld and bahamas! sooooooooo excited!
