japanese dramas

sometimes,watching drama is a good entertainment for students like us. it's good to just sit back, relax and enjoy the drama after class, before doing revision or assignments. i like to watch japanese dramas because japanese dramas usually have only 11 episodes :D these are some of the japanese dramas that i had watched this year:

Nodame Cantabile
Ueno Juri, Tamaki Hiroshi, Mizukawa Asami, Eita
this is the one i like the most! i actually watched some episodes of it in 2007, but i only finished watching it after i came to inti. i LOVE it. interesting storyline, nice songs and awesome cast! it's about how the students achieve their dreams and also the love story between nodame and chiaki. everyone in this drama performed very well, especially ueno juri. she made nodame looked so cute. aww, i like nodame :)

Nodame Cantabile @ Paris

Ueno Juri, Tamaki Hiroshi, Wentz Eiji, Becky

nodame and chiaki went to paris for further education and continued their love story there. nice drama with nice scene! but i still prefer the japan one. chiaki also looked not-so-hot in this drama :p

Osen
Aoi Yu, Uchi Hiroki, Mukai Osamu
it's about japanese food and culture, and also how osen and the workers solve problems together. me likey the oishii food in osen! and also the theme song - 踊れ.

Kurosagi
Yamashita Tomohisa, Horikita Maki, Ichikawa Yui
kurosagi's family was destroyed by swindlers. he hated swindlers so much. he bought information from katsuragi and started his revenge on the swindlers. tsurara, a law student who rented house from kurosagi, tried to persuade kurosagi for giving up swindling after she fell in love with him. this drama wasn't bad though. me LOVE yamapi! "bang!" :)

Proposal Daisakusen
Yamashita Tomoshisa, Nagasawa Masami, Fujiki Naohito, Eikura Nana
ken and rei had been friends since elementary school and they loved each other. ken regretted that he didn't confess to rei when he was attending rei's wedding. but then ken got the second chance to go back to the past and win the girl he loved. me no likey ken for being so adagio but me still loves yamapi~!

Last Friends
Ueno Juri, Nagasawa Masami, Eita, Ryo Nishikido, Mizukawa Asami
AWESOME cast! ueno juri is so damn cool in this drama! me likey. this drama tackles issues of the current generation, such as homosexuality and abusive relationship. i don't like michiru for being so "kind" to her boyfriend who abused her. is it called stupid? btw awesome theme song - prisoner of love by utada hikaru.
*i'm a prisoner of love, prisoner of love...*

1 Litre no Namida
Erika Sawajiri, Ryo Nishikido, Naohito Fujiki, Hiroko Yakushimaru
a real story about a 15-year-old girl, aya who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease but she fought hard to live. she died at the age of 25, after 10 years fighting against the disease. actually this was the second time i watched this drama but it still made me cried a lot. damn sad. the girl had taught me to appreciate everything in my life.
do the things that you want to do now so that you won't regret in the future :)

Mei Chan no Shitsuji
Eikura Nana, Mizushima Hiro, Yamada Yu, Mukai Osamu
mei started her life at st. lucia girls' academy after her parents died. every girl in the academy had her own butler. mei was bullied by her schoolmates at first but she faced them bravely. finally she befriended with them. she also fell in love with her butler, rihito. i think girls like this drama because there are damn a lot of lengzais in this drama xD mukai osama~!

there are some new japanese dramas and i'm gonna watch them this holidays :D

time flies. 2009 is gonna end soon. let's see what we had done this year.

BBQ at inti. it was one of the CNY events.

our first steamboat dinner at inti. BALLsss!

my swimming lessons at inti's olympic-sized swimming pool. thanks jiehui the coach. i can float and "move" now ;D thanks a lot because i know it's quite hard for you to teach a slow learner like me. i didn't know that swimming is such an interesting sport until i tried it. swimming rocks!

BTN at Kem Meru. it was actually fun. i miss it! :)

see my wallpaper. nice right? it was redang island! woohoooo. we started to plan for our redang trip few months before we went there. redang island became my dream place to go after i watched Summer Holidays, a hk movie starring Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng.

snorkeling @ redang! i wish to try it again even though it's quite scary. thanks joyce teh awesome kid for helping me during the snorkeling sessions ;)

pooling for the first time in my life. it's quite addictive.

my new blog :)

started a new blog. the previous ones were deleted. i just do not want to face my past.

having holidays now for 2 months. owh i hate long holidays. i always find nothing to do during long holidays. what i do are sleeping, eating and watching series. perhaps the holidays this time are the different ones coz i'm applying to universities now. i have to finish writing the 2 application essays and also finish doing the online applications within these few weeks. but now i have no idea about how to write my application essays and make my essays to be not-so-ordinary. *sigh* btw i still have to go back to inti again after my 4th sem result is released to settle my application thingy.
